
On a Hot July night in 2002, DAN SEALS of "ENGLAND DAN & JOHN FORD COLEY" invited his brother JIM SEALS of "SEALS & CROFT" onstage at the famed GRAND OLE OPRY. Those on hand not only jumped to their feet song after song but also witnessed a birth of a brand new duo, "SEALS & SEALS".
Seals & Croft put together a string of 5 GOLD albums for Warner Bros from 1972 through 1976. An additional greatest compillation reached "DOUBLE PLATNUM" status. Their hit songs from that period included: "SUMMER BREEZE", "DIAMOND GIRL", "WE MAY NEVER PASS THIS WAY AGAIN" and "GET CLOSER" .
In the mean time, JIM SEALS was making gold records with his group "SEALS & CROFT" for A&M Records with such enduring hits as: "I'D REALLY LOVE TO SEE YOU TONIGHT", "NIGHTS ARE FOREVER WITHOUT YOU" and "LOVE IS THE ANSWER".
In the 1980's Dan established himself as a solo country artist with ELEVEN NUMBER #1 HITS with such songs as: "BOP", "EVERYTHING THAT GLITTERS IS NOT GOLD" and "LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL" just to mention a few. Dan also recorded the hit duet together with Marie Osmond, "MEET ME IN MONTANA"
